Mt Lyford Lodge can be found in North Canterbury, midway between Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura in the South Island of New Zealand

The Lodge is situated at the gateway entrance to the Mt Lyford Village and the Mt Lyford Ski Field.

A shuttle service runs between Kaikoura and Christchurch via Hanmer Springs and Mt Lyford Lodge, thru the now, completely sealed Inland Road. This road, with it's beautiful scenery makes access simple and affordable for backpackers and travellers without transport. This part of New Zealand shouldn’t be missed.
